GP Marketer

The purpose of this position is to focus on building long-term relationships with doctors in order for them to refer patients to the hospital. Work closely with doctors, and act as an all-round business consultant to identify how the hospital can assist in improving the process of referrals. Candidate must be skilled at developing a diverse and large client base, and constantly look for new ways to promote the hospital and build professional network ties.

The position is available immediately.

 

Job Description

  • Determine doctor needs by asking relevant questions and listening actively to responses
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing doctors
  • Building relationship with potential doctors for developing new business
  • Work with the database and set up weekly meetings with doctors
  • Report on activities, and database maintenance
  • Represent company at trade exhibitions, symposiums, events and demonstrations
  • Frequent travel in Gauteng

Administrative Duties

  • Record doctor visits and analyse the data
  • Maintain and communicate weekly planner and daily activities completed and outcome and actions to follow up on

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Sales and Marketing tertiary qualification would be an advantage

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years’ work experience in a similar role in the Health Care Industry
  • Basic computer skills (data entry and attention to detail)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable own vehicle
  • People person with exceptional presentation & communication skills
  • Customer Service Orientated
  • Well groomed & presentable
  • Ability to work independently
  • Available outside of normal office hours, as per doctor requirements
